Are Oregon voters about to revise history? If you believe the early polls, the 2006 election could alter which party controls the statehouse in Salem. That's what happened in 1994 when a tidal wave of discontent swept Democrats out of power and gave Republicans a lock on both the legislature in Salem and Congress in Washington, D.C. OPB is following three key house races – one urban, one rural and one suburban – to find out how the state has changed in the past 12 years. Tune in to the stations of Oregon Public Broadcasting Television on Friday, October 27 at 10pm (and Sunday, October 29 at 1pm) as OPB's Christy George hosts this special that also tests the voter's mood and the candidates' staying power.
